# IT Admin Account Note

Public registration only allows:

- Student
- Staff

Privileged roles such as ITAdmin, Finance, DAA, DSA, DRIL, PL, HoD, SSO,
Coach, GuestHouseManager, CollegeAdmin, and Exam-cell must be created by IT
Admin from:

```text
/admin/add-user
```

The first IT Admin account is created automatically when the app starts.

Default startup account:

```text
Email: it.admin@rub.edu.bt
Employee ID: it-admin
Password: value of IT_ADMIN_PASSWORD in .env
```

For production, set this in `.env` before starting the app:

```env
IT_ADMIN_PASSWORD=your_secure_password
```

For the current demo database:

```text
Email: demo.itadmin@rub.edu.bt
Password: demo
```

After logging in, IT Admin can create and manage the role-based accounts.
